Assumptions
- There is no single universal grading system. Institutions define their own scales, weights, and rounding.
- Default letter bands are a common US 4.0 illustration only. Replace them with your syllabus or registrar scale.
- Weighted calculations use the weights you enter. Unweighted course GPA treats each course equally only when credits are equal.
- Credit weighting multiplies grade points by the credits you enter. Some schools exclude certain credits from official GPA.
- Displayed GPA and percentages are rounded for readability. Your school may truncate, round half-up, or use another policy.
- A result here is a planning estimate. It is not your official institutional GPA or transcript grade.
- Full-time status is institution-specific. The default 12-credit threshold is only a common undergraduate illustration.
- Recommended weekly hours use the hours-per-credit figure you enter, not an official workload rule.
- This does not decide financial aid, visa, or athletic eligibility.
